Q: If I sign with Beacon, do I have to call Beacon for customer service?
A: No... you have the freedom to call us or the provider for customer service.
Q: Isn't Beacon just a middleman? Wouldn't I be better off going "direct" to the provider?
A: When you work with Beacon, you do go "direct" to the provider… you sign the same contract, you use the same physical telecom & IT services, and you receive the same invoice as when you work with a provider sales rep. With Beacon, however, you gain superior, long term representation from an agency that champions your interests instead of the provider's.
Q: How is Beacon paid?
A: Beacon generally is paid by the provider you choose each and every month you use that provider's service.
Q: If the provider pays Beacon every month, won't my service cost more if I work with Beacon instead of a provider sales rep?
A: No. To the contrary, Beacon has access to low cost provider plans that aren't offered by provider sales reps, so Beacon often provides superior pricing options. Furthermore, since telecom & IT agencies like Beacon are only paid when they produce, providers have found that agencies are a more cost effective mode of distribution relative to provider sales reps.
Q: Will I get a bill from Beacon or the provider?
A: You will only receive a bill from the provider. Beacon's standard services are free to you.
